Gökhan Mendi is an expert at the forefront of fintech with substantial accolades in digital banking within the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Turkey. Gökhan has been instrumental in re-vamping, augmenting, and modernizing products and service delivery for BP, Beiersdorf, Citibank, Fortis, Finansbank, and BNP Paribas TEB and has managed an expansive team of 7500 employees.
Gökhan is currently the Senior Assistant General Manager at TEB BNP PARIBAS. He was integral in the BNP Paribas and Fortis Bank merger. He operated as Head of Consumer & Private Banking, Micro SME, Digital Banking, and Payments. He led digital banking, CRM, alternative distribution channels, call center, bancassurance, and payment system operations. He oversaw a robust sales network consisting of 13 regions and 442 mixed branches with approximately 3,000 employees distributed across Turkey in 71 cities. Furthermore, he served as a member of the BKM (The Interbank Card Centre) Board, TEB Brokerage Board.
Gökhan received his Executive MBA in Business Administration from the London Business School, Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Economics, and BS in Civil Engineering.
